May 20th Applications due no later than 3PM including all teacher recommendations.
May 21st Official candidates will be informed by 6th Period
May 22nd-May 30th Campaign window. Candidates will be given specific rules

May 30th Elections during Advisory
May 31st Candidates will be informed of election results during an after school meeting

Save the Date! Student Led Conferences
May 21 & 22
Student Led Conferences will be held on Tuesday, May 21st from 3:00pm-6:30pm and on Wednesday, May 22nd from 12:00pm-7:00pm. These conferences will provide an opportunity for students to reflect upon their successes during the year and to provide you with examples of what they have learned in each of the academic areas. We strongly encourage you to be part of this conference experience. Your student and their advisor will be contacting you soon with more details.

DSHS Mobile Office - is coming to Tukwila on April 11th and May 23rd from 12:00 - 5:00 pm at REWA. REWA (Refugge Women's Alliance) is located at 15245 International Blvd South Tukwila, WA 98188. At this event, people can apply for: Cash assistance, Basic food assistance, Medical assistance, Drug and Alcohol Treat Services and Child Care Services. You can also drop off paperwork, complete an Eligibility Review or make changes to an existing case. This is a great opportunity for families to access services.
College Bound Scholarship: It is never too early to think about college for
your student, even in middle school.
The State of Washington
has the College Bound Scholarship program available for students. To be eligible for this scholarship,
students must:
- Be currently enrolled in the 7th or 8th
grade and apply by June 30th of their 8th grade
year
- Submit the college bound scholarship application
- Graduate from a Washington
high school or home school
- Maintain a cumulative high school GPA of at least a 2.0
- Be a good citizen and stay crime free
- Apply for admission to an eligible college in Washington
- Complete the free application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
- Meet the family income requirements at the time of graduation
- Be a resident of Washington
