1. Students Meet or Exceed Grade Level Competence in All Subject Areas - with a Focus on Literacy and Math
Ø Focus resources on English Language Learners in the areas of professional development and curriculum. Ø Align professional development to support achievement in reading, writing, math and science.
Ø Use student achievement data (i.e.WASL, WPTL, attendance reports, progress monitoring) to inform instruction, allocate resources, and provide targeted assistance.
2. Continual Evaluation and Improvement of Learning and Teaching
Ø Align K-12 curriculum with state standards using researched-based materials that provide rigor and support best practices in learning and teaching.
Ø Promote literacy and basic skills for children during their pre-school years.
Ø Promote service learning opportunities and experiences.
3. Provide Safe and Civil Schools for Staff and Students
Ø Develop common expectations for student behavior.
Ø Train staff on crisis management, student intervention, and supervision.
Ø Support activities that encourage civic responsibility.
Ø Collect and track accurate student discipline.
4. Promote Parent and Community Involvement in Schools
Ø Collect data on Strategies to promote parent and community involvement. |
